The City of Memmingen established the Business Start-Up Center as part of the "Offensive Zukunft Bayern" project. It creates a basis for the foundation of young companies by providing office and variable commercial space of various sizes as well as service facilities and consulting services. Consequently a branch variety of establishment-willing from service trade, industry and trade as well as the support with start-up difficulties is offered.

The Existenzgründungszentrum is supported by the following institutions as shareholders:
