Summary

Practical teaching and research for future-oriented plastics technology

Profile

The Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences offers a broad portfolio in the field of new materials with its degree programs in plastics technology, mechanical engineering, wood technology and chemical engineering. Extensive expertise, a high degree of interdisciplinarity and commitment characterize teaching and research.

In addition, the university has an excellently equipped infrastructure: from materials science and product development to processing. Especially in process technology, fiber composite technology and clean room technology, laboratory facilities are available that are unique. This also includes a production facility for the development of innovative climate- and resource-friendly processes and products for vehicle construction, the construction sector, wood construction and furniture construction. Under the title „MUNACU – Multifunctional Natural Fiber-Plastic Composites“ different variants for the  production of natural fiber-plastic composites up to finished components are researched here. Increasing efficiency in the production process is a key issue here.
