First stage:
The project outline must be submitted to the Project Management Agency Bavaria via the project manager for individual projects or the project coordinator of the respective network.
The project ideas suitable for funding are selected on the basis of the evaluation and prioritization by the project management agency and the expert panel. The expert panel is obliged to maintain confidentiality. The selected project teams will then be invited to a short presentation of the project. The project manager or project coordinator will be informed of the selection result in writing. No information about the evaluation process will be provided until this date. There is no legal entitlement to the return of a submitted project outline. For the second stage of the procedure, all projects whose project outline has been positively evaluated will be invited to submit an application for funding. Project outlines that are not invited to submit an application will not be pursued further. Resubmission at a later date is generally possible.
Second stage:
If funding is recommended, you will receive all the documents required for the application from the Bavarian project management organization. In addition, a mandatory application consultation will take place. The Project Management Agency Bavaria will contact the project coordinator for this purpose. Following the consultation, the funding application must be submitted within six weeks. The earliest recommended start of the implementation period is three months after receipt of the complete and verifiable funding application. In principle, projects that were started before approval cannot be funded. After a final review, the StMGP will decide on the funding application and initiate the approval process.
