Digital and innovative health and care projects
The Bavarian State Ministry of Health, Care and Prevention is funding measures as part of the Health and Care Digitization Directive (BayDiGuP) in order to
- promote and expand digitalization in health, care and prevention in the Free State of Bavaria
- support scientific progress through the use of health data and thus enable better diagnostics and therapies
- and to support innovative solutions with a further connection to digitalization or other related technological developments such as automation or robotics in the field of health, care and prevention.
The thematic focus of the 2025 funding call was part of the HighCare Agenda adopted by the Council of Ministers. Under the title "Care for tomorrow - self-determined, holistic, intergenerational, regionally available and digitally supported", the HighCare Agenda will provide around 31 million euros from the Bavarian state government until 2029 to make care fit for tomorrow with digitalization, artificial intelligence and future technologies and to start the care of tomorrow in Bavaria today.
