Funding conditions

What is funded?

• Process and organizational innovations are supported financially.
  This includes, for example, projects that involve fundamental changes in processes or structures and introduce new organizational methods in business practices, workflows or customer and supplier relationships.

Who is eligible for funding?

• Eligible to apply are
  • Commercial enterprises that have their registered office, a branch or a permanent establishment in the Free State of Bavaria.
  • Large companies if they cooperate effectively with SMEs in the subsidized activity and the SMEs bear at least 30% of the total eligible costs.

How is funding provided?

• Funding is provided in the form of a grant towards the eligible costs.
• Funding is provided on an expenditure basis.
• Funding is provided in accordance with Art. 29 GBER:
  • 50% funding for SMEs,
  • 15% funding for large companies in cooperation with SMEs.
• Funding of a maximum of €12.5 million can be approved per company and project.

Eligible cost types:

• Personnel costs,
• Costs for instruments, equipment, buildings and land, insofar and as long as they are used for the project,
• Costs for contract research,
• Additional overheads and other operating costs (materials, consumables, etc.).

What requirements must be met?

• The project must be carried out in Bavaria.
