Funding is provided for transformation projects throughout the Free State of Bavaria. Investments by companies in research and innovative technologies as well as investments in the conversion of production processes and the development of alternative business areas are addressed.
Projects in the area of process and organizational innovation are eligible for funding in the TFO module.

LfA Förderbank Bayern's transformation fund is an investment instrument for transformation projects. You can find more information on this under LfA Förderbank Bayern - Transformationsfonds Bayern.
The new transformation fund provides non-repayable funding within the framework of the applicable funding guidelines.

A total of around 350 million euros from the capital stock of the Bavarian Transformation and Research Foundation is available for the funding modules. The resources of the Transformation Fund are made available for a limited period of several years.

The listed program modules are managed by the Project Management Agency Bavaria at Bayern Innovativ. The project management organization conducts the application consultation, accepts the funding applications using the forms provided for this purpose and supports the project implementation and billing. The Bavarian Transformation and Research Foundation approves the funds and issues the funding notices.
