Strategic cooperation - teaching assignments as a bridge between industry and university

Prof. Dr. Hans-Joachim Hof is Vice President for Teaching, Students and Alumni at the TH Ingolstadt. His academic career began with a teaching position at the Munich University of Applied Sciences. Today, he heads the "Security in Mobility" research group and is committed to practical university teaching in the field of IT security. As the initiator of the "Secure Scrum" process and an expert in automotive cybersecurity, he brings in-depth experience in applied research, teaching development and digital university strategy.
As Head of the Center for Academic Continuing Education at Deggendorf Institute of Technology,Corina Welsch is responsible for part-time study programs and their strategic development. She also works as a lecturer in the fields of social sciences and economics and contributes her expertise in leadership, organizational development and competence building. In her role at the interface between university and business, she is committed to practical continuing education formats and strengthens the exchange between academic teaching and professional practice.
Patrick Bott is Head of the Test Center at Weber GmbH in Aschaffenburg. He studied industrial engineering with a focus on microsystems technology at Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences and electrical engineering at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences with a focus on environmental simulation. After holding positions as project manager and deputy division manager, he has headed the test center since 2022. He is also a lecturer in electrical engineering and reliability engineering at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences.
