Chips JU Calls 2025

On 15 May 2025, a joint webinar was held on behalf of the Bavarian Chips Alliance and the Bavarian Research Alliance. Together with the participants, the event highlighted the opportunities and funding mechanisms offered by Horizon Europe and the Chips Joint Undertaking (CHIPS JU). The aim was to provide practical insights to support ongoing and future research and development activities.

The program included:

• Introduction (Bavarian Chips Alliance and Bavarian Research Alliance)
• Presentation of Horizon Europe
• Presentation of the Chips Joint Undertaking (CHIPS JU) initiative
• Presentation of CHIPS JU Calls 2025
  • ECS R&I Calls: The ECS R&I Calls promote innovation in key areas such as artificial intelligence, high performance computing, cybersecurity and digital infrastructure.
  • CHIPS for Europe Initiative Calls: The CHIPS for Europe Initiative promotes technology capacity building and innovation in the European Union.

• Time for questions and discussion

Participants gained valuable insights and information to help plan and implement their future research projects.
