After the great success of the Bavarian funding program for the development of a hydrogen refueling station infrastructure for commercial vehicles, the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs is relaunching the program after an adjustment of the European legal basis.

"Particularly in view of the current energy crisis and one-sided dependence on Russian gas, it makes sense to rely even more on hydrogen in the future, which can be obtained from various countries of origin. The race to catch up with hydrogen as an alternative to fossil fuels has begun: In addition to the nearly 20 hydrogen refueling stations already in place in Bavaria, another six are now under construction with the help of our Bavarian funding program. A massive further expansion is urgently needed to be able to use hydrogen on a large scale in the future.

The new funding program for the development of a basic hydrogen filling station infrastructure in the commercial vehicle sector in Bavaria is now running with funding calls. From March 1 to March 31, outlines for all funding objects of the directive can now be submitted to the project sponsor Bayern Innovativ, a total of up to ten million euros is available for project funding under this call. Details on the funding call can be found on the website of the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy. Interested parties are asked to contact the project sponsor Bayern Innovativ directly.
