Delegation trip "Widen your digital horizon - Applied AI and the AI ecosystem in the San Francisco Bay Area"

The Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy and Bayern International are organizing a delegation trip to the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley from 1 to 5 March 2026. The focus will be on exchanging information on current developments, specific applications and opportunities for cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence.

The trip has a business focus and will take place without political support. It is primarily aimed at companies in the life sciences (health, medtech) and production & robotics sectors that are already working with digital technologies and/or are looking for innovative digital solutions. To this end, we are exchanging ideas with the inspiring ecosystem of Silicon Valley.

The USA has been an important economic partner of Bavaria for many years. The West Coast in particular, especially the greater San Francisco area, is considered a global center for technological innovation and artificial intelligence. With its high density of start-ups, leading tech companies and renowned research institutions, the San Francisco Bay Area offers a dynamic innovation ecosystem and diverse points of contact for Bavarian companies - from AI-supported platform solutions to industrial applications in future industries.

The travel costs (flight and accommodation) as well as costs for your individual program will be borne by you. The other costs for the joint program will be covered by the foreign trade promotion program of the Free State of Bavaria.
