Live demonstration at the trade fair: Repair by Embroidery

Repair by Embroidery: TITV Greiz showcases innovative, sustainable textile repair with embroidery technology, thread printing and laser technology at the trade fair

With the "Repair by Embroidery" project, TITV Greiz is showcasing an innovative approach to sustainably extending the service life of clothing. The focus is on digital, design-oriented textile repair that combines modern embroidery technology with waterless yarn printing and laser-assisted cutting. The aim is to implement repair processes in a way that not only conserves resources but is also aesthetically pleasing.
Used textiles are scanned, classified and used as the basis for customized, embroidered design patches. Digital colour matching, individual thread dyeing and creative effects enable personalized repair solutions. In the future, a modular system will be created that will enable textile workshops, smaller embroidery shops and alteration tailors to repair damaged clothing efficiently and flexibly.
TITV Greiz will be demonstrating this approach live at the trade fair stand. Two demonstrations will take place daily from April 21 to 24 - at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. respectively.
