Welcome to the "go-cluster" program: New Materials Cluster

The New Materials Cluster has been accepted into the nationwide excellence program "go-cluster" and thus meets the quality criteria of the European Cluster Excellence Initiative.

The New Materials Cluster has been officially included in the nationwide excellence program "go cluster" of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. This means that the cluster is now one of the most powerful innovation clusters in Germany, standing as a pioneer for technological developments and innovative strength.

The New Materials Cluster networks companies, research institutions and partner organizations along the entire materials-related value chain. The focus is on sustainable materials, innovative material systems and high-tech solutions that will shape the material ecosystem of the future. Through intensive cooperation, the cluster raises new innovation potential and brings partners together for joint product and project ideas.
The two project managers Astrid Lang and Melissa Hajnsek are looking forward to working together in the go cluster community and to providing new impetus for the further development of the cluster.

By joining the go cluster program, the New Materials cluster meets the quality criteria of the European Cluster Excellence Initiative (ECEI), which ensure efficient structures, strong management processes and high visibility and impact within the innovation ecosystem, among other things.

Membership in the go cluster programme provides access to a Germany-wide network of high-performance cluster management organizations, promotes professional exchange and strengthens cluster policy cooperation.
