Call for the 5th German 3D Printing Challenge

Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) invites all 3D printing enthusiasts to take part in the German 3D Printing Challenge (3DDC). Whether pupils, trainees, students or professionals - anyone with innovative ideas in the field of 3D printing can apply. The aim is to develop a 3D printing product or service that can lead to a start-up idea or save costs in existing companies.
Patronage and participation requirements
The Bavarian Minister of State for Science and the Arts, Markus Blume, MdL, is the patron of the 3DDC. He emphasizes the revolutionary significance of 3D printing and wishes all participants every success.
Individuals or teams of up to three people can take part, regardless of age or level of education. A degree is not a prerequisite.
Procedure and prizes
The challenge consists of two rounds: In the first round, a poster explaining the 3D printed product is created. In the second round, the business benefits are illustrated. The best ideas will be pitched in front of a jury and the audience. The finalists will receive exclusive pitch and business coaching.
The jury, consisting of experts from business, education and science, will award prizes with a total value of over €10,000.
