The Orplid district is a pioneering reference project for the combination of sustainable energy supply, modern building technology and digital district development.

The project shows how the energy transition can be implemented in a concrete and economical way.

The entire quarter comprises around 900 residential units, which are being realized together with Orplid and München Wohnen. Within this overall project, an integrated energy and system solution was implemented in the Orplid sub-area, which serves as a scalable blueprint for comparable neighborhood developments.

The focus is on a holistic system solution: photovoltaic systems, intelligent control technology and prepared charging infrastructure interlock and enable an efficient, scalable energy supply. Around 50% of the parking spaces are already pre-equipped for electromobility.

Another key component is digital neighborhood integration. Energy flows, users and infrastructure are networked via a central platform. This creates transparency for residents and a basis for future smart city applications.

The close cooperation with regional tradespeople is particularly noteworthy. Planning and implementation are practical and solution-oriented - a decisive factor for the successful implementation of complex energy systems.

Conclusion: The system implemented in the Orplid district is an example of how integrated energy, infrastructure and digitalization solutions work in a real building environment - and thus provides a reliable basis for transfer to other projects in Bavaria and beyond.
