In the field of quantum technology, there is a high demand for qualified specialists in companies in order to ensure competitiveness. At the same time, "quantum awareness" is also necessary to sensitize decision-makers, but also young specialists, to this future technology.
For this reason, the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) intends to promote the field of specialists in quantum technologies as part of the "Quantum Future Professionals" agenda.
The BMFTR supports pre-competitive individual or joint projects that offer new or improved approaches in this context to counteract the shortage of skilled workers, to impart knowledge, to provide training and further education opportunities and to create broad "quantum awareness".
