Digital Bavarian Main - Danube
With the "Digital Bavarian Main-Danube" network, the Smart Cities and Regions thematic platform aims to create added value for local authorities in the Main and Danube regions.
Network: Digital Bavarian Main-Danube
The network has been in existence since fall 2020. It is an association of 20 Bavarian municipalities and districts along the Main and Danube rivers and has set itself the goal of pooling existing digitalization activities and expertise and further developing suitable project ideas.
The loose network has since been transformed into a registered association, the "Digitalraum Main-Donau-Moldau e.V.", in 2023. It not only addresses regional authorities, but also companies and universities that are active in the Smart Regions sector. Stakeholders from the Czech Republic and the Danube region are also very welcome.
