Review | Strategic dialog on the future of the European creative economy in Brussels

At the beginning of June, Henning Berthold, project manager at Bayern Innovativ GmbH in the creative industries sector, took part in the strategic dialog on the future of the European creative economy in Brussels.

The high-level event brought together experts, political decision-makers and representatives from the worlds of business, science and culture to discuss key decisions for the coming years.

The talks focused on the digital transformation of the creative industries, in particular the opportunities and challenges arising from the use of artificial intelligence. Four central topics were discussed in depth: new forms of value creation, changing market conditions, legal and regulatory issues and the strengthening of European technological and cultural sovereignty.

Henning actively contributed to the discussion and, in his summary, once again emphasized the need for European cooperation, in particular the interlinking of culture and technology in the innovation process as a prerequisite for social acceptance. In this context, the BI Creative Industries division also supports the work of the Creative FED as a member of the Supervisory Board and is committed to a strong, networked and sustainable European creative economy.
