The Niersberger Group has opened a new production hall for serial renovations.

Prefabricated façade, ceiling and, in the future, wall elements made of wood are produced in the 4,480 square meter facility.

At the opening on April 17, the company and its subsidiaries presented the production processes - from the frame construction, insulation and cladding to the finished façade assembly. The aim is to standardize construction processes and make them more efficient.

Twelve employees are working in the hall at the start. A photovoltaic system with 456 kWp partially supplies the production with its own electricity. Additional jobs are to be created with a planned two-shift operation.

Niersberger is one of the pioneers in the field of serial refurbishment and implements corresponding projects with GEWOBAU Erlangen, among others. With the new hall, the company is responding to the growing trend towards industrialized construction methods and strengthening its timber construction capacities.
