Bayern Innovativ and Airbus launched a round table on material innovations for aerospace for Munich start-ups
In cooperation with Airbus, Bayern Innovativ has organized the kick-off for a new round table on the topic of "Innovative materials for aerospace". The first meeting took place on 25.11.2025 in the Paulaner am Nockherberg and offered the opportunity to make professional contacts and promote exchange between the participants in an informal setting followed by an optional dinner.
A compact program of presentations was offered to set the mood. Among other things, Peter Steidl, funding guide at Bayern Innovativ, provided information on current funding opportunities in the field of innovative aerospace materials. In future, the round table will also be supplemented by short company presentations, particularly from start-ups and small companies, in order to provide insights into their innovation projects and provide new impetus for cooperation. The series of short presentations was kicked off by KRP Mechatec.
The response to the first meeting was very positive. In the coming weeks, the next steps will be coordinated, particularly with regard to the future frequency and organization of further round table meetings.
