Call for funding "Resilience - Resilient Digital Systems

The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) has published the guideline for funding research projects on the topic of "Resilience - Resilient Digital Systems" in the research program for communication systems "Sovereign. Digital. Networked." published.
With this funding call, the BMBF would like to bring together all necessary actors for the design of resilient digital systems in collaborative projects to enable intensive exchange and joint research and development.
Funding is available for collaborative projects that research and develop resilient communication technologies. The characteristics of resilience are strongly dependent on the respective application requirements.
The emerging technologies should be embedded in at least one use case with societal relevance. Examples include:
Industry 4.0
networked autonomous driving
networked medical applications
critical infrastructure systems.
The solutions developed should be able to be integrated into overall concepts for communication systems (in particular also 5G/6G).
The application procedure is two-stage. Project outlines can be submitted to VDI/VDE Innovation und Technik GmbH until June 6, 2022.
