Business models and pioneering solutions sought for better health and care

As part of the Innovation Programme for Business Models and Pioneering Solutions (IGP), the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the implementation of promising non-technical innovations. Opportunities include creative business concepts, organizational models of social start-ups and new platform formats.

The current call is aimed at business models and pioneering solutions for better health and care. New designs and concepts for inclusion innovations or dignified ageing, innovative solutions to improve prevention, care and rehabilitation as well as innovative support concepts for sick people and those in need of care and their relatives are all eligible for funding.

The projects should contribute to innovative solutions to problems. New technologies can also play a role here. SMEs (including start-ups, self-employed persons, social enterprises) and research institutions cooperating with SMEs (including universities) are eligible to apply.

Deadline

The deadline for submitting requests to participate is August 27, 2024 at 3:00 p.m.

Outlook

The next IGP call is expected to take place at the end of this year. The focus will be on business models and pioneering solutions for the better use of data and artificial intelligence (AI).
