Bavarian glass company receives two awards at the end of the year

The traditional company Zwiesel Fortessa AG from the Bavarian Forest has been confirmed as the world market leader for crystal glass in the upscale hotel and restaurant industry for the tenth time in a row. It also received the prestigious "Best Business Award" in gold for sustainable corporate management.

Both awards underline the company's leading role and its successful transformation from a pure glass manufacturer to a provider of tableware. By changing its name to ZWIESEL FORTESSA, the company is uniting its expertise in glass and tabletop under one name. Up to 60 million glasses leave the production line every year.

These awards show once again that the Bavarian glass industry has a very good reputation worldwide and stands for outstanding quality.
