Across the border: Lower Bavaria - South Bohemia "Borderland creative"
Cross-border cooperation: On October 25, our colleague Veronika was able to exchange ideas on cross-border cultural and creative industries with the project partners from the University of South Bohemia (Faculty of Economics), the South Bohemian Science and Technology Park on the Czech side and the Deggendorf Institute of Technology and the Niederbayernforum e.V. on the German side in České Budějovice - the capital of South Bohemia. The first steps towards the start of the Interreg project "Creative Borderland" were initiated over traditional South Bohemian food.
The aim of the project will be to analyze creative potential on both sides of the border in order to establish and connect new cross-border cooperation with a focus on culture and tourism. The planned catalog of measures will include proposals, recommendations and supporting instruments for the revitalization of the cultural and creative industries and tourism in both border regions (in the post-Covid period).
