Intelligent recommendations for drivers at the right moment

4screen GmbH from Munich recently became a partner in the Automotive Cluster. The company has developed a platform that seamlessly connects drivers in real time, giving them access to relevant services and recommendations via the vehicle display. By integrating into the vehicle's digital operating system, 4screen uses vehicle data to improve the driving experience and display appropriate content at the right time - while adhering to the highest security and data protection standards. With its expertise, 4screen has recently been able to initiate interesting collaborations, including with VW, Bosch Ventures and Stellantis.

At the beginning of September 2025, 4screen published a press release on its partnership with Volkswagen to further improve the driving experience across Europe thanks to the integration of the innovative 4screen technology. Since August, the new functionality has been integrated into Volkswagen vehicles in twelve European markets via an over-the-air (OTA) update with up-to-date, contextual content, making everyday driving easier.

More convenience and individuality

4screen's Recommendation Format uses vehicle data to make appropriate suggestions to drivers at the right moment. These recommendations appear when they are really relevant - for example when the tank or battery level is low, when there are signs of tiredness or when the driver arrives at their destination. For example, the system can recommend a nearby charging station or a suitable café for a break. This makes every journey more comfortable and personalized.
The Detail Screen complements this format. It shows additional information such as opening hours, parking options or current offers directly on the vehicle display. In this way, drivers receive all the important details in real time and experience brands precisely when they are making decisions.

Further successful collaborations with well-known companies

4 screen was able to announce a successful collaboration with Bosch Ventures in July. This involved the completion of the Series B financing round of USD 21 million, led by Bosch Ventures and the renowned investors NewRoad Capital Partners and Bayern Kapital. With the newly received capital, 4screen aims to further expand its international presence and scale the platform into new markets and product areas.

A further cooperation was initiated between 4screen and Stellantis. The aim is to integrate real-time and location-based digital services into Stellantis' well-known vehicle brands and offer customers in Europe and North America an even more convenient and intuitive driving experience. The 4screen platform will initially be available in selected vehicles equipped with 4screen systems. Drivers will be able to access nearby services, offers and places of interest directly via the infotainment system. Other Stellantis brands will gradually follow as the roll-out expands.
