Change of perspective - sustainable together in the future!

10.07.2024

The impulse day for the cultural and creative industries took place on Friday, July 5, 2024, at the Trafohaus brigk (Digitales Gründerzentrum der Region Ingolstadt GmbH) in Ingolstadt. The annual association conference was organized by the Bavarian State Association of Cultural and Creative Industries e. V. (BLVKK) in cooperation with Neue Sicht e. V.

The aim of the event was to give the association members from all over Bavaria, representatives of the city of Ingolstadt and all interested stakeholders at city, regional and supra-regional level the impetus to develop their own sustainability strategies and to promote cooperation.

The idea for this impulse day arose from the work in the Culture4Climate SDG tandem. The topic of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) was discussed in three impulse tandems with different focal points. The aim was for all participants to take away concrete ideas and suggestions from top runner examples and apply them in their own organizations or companies. The four top runners were: "Ratschhaus" from Ingolstadt, "Re-Shirt" from Munich, "Tornero" from Regensburg and "Harmless Art" from Nuremberg.

Veronika Peters introduced the "Ratschhaus", spoke about the important aspect of social sustainability and showed the upcycling products that are sold in the Ratschhaus. "Re-Shirt" is a start-up from Munich that has developed a washable textile ink that can be used to print T-shirts for events, which can then simply be washed and reprinted for the next event. Tornero", a deposit system for pizza boxes, was presented, a great initiative for the quantities of pizza boxes that are sold over the counter every day. And finally, Anna Hielscher presented "Harmless Art", which aims to create art and cultural education projects in the spirit of the circular economy.

In addition, the aim is to jointly identify needs that legislators, municipalities, districts and the state should rethink in the future.

The day ended with a presentation of the results, a joint walk to Creative Space ELFI and a drink with snacks. Finally, the ELFISCH pop-up store was opened and the day ended at the Ingolstadt Citizens' Festival.

In addition to the Bavarian Center for Cultural and Creative Industries (bayernkreativ) and the STADTKULTUR Netzwerk Bayerischer Städte e. V., the city of Ingolstadt with its cultural department, city planning office and economic department were also involved. Further potential cooperation partnerships were requested.
