Sicherheitsnetzwerk München e.V.

The Security Network Munich is an association of companies and research institutions in the field of information and cyber security. Founded in Munich in 2012 -hence the name- from an initiative of leading security providers, universities and research institutes, the cluster operates since 2019 as a non-profit association "Sicherheitsnetzwerk München e.V."  based in Munich. 

The aim of the association is to raise awareness and competence on the topic of IT security, to promote the protection of companies and the public against cyber risks and to make a concrete contribution to the promotion of innovation and excellence in the field of IT security. The networking of all relevant stakeholders is of central importance to the Munich Security Network. Members are therefore both providers and users of IT security solutions, large corporations have joined as well as medium-sized businesses. Colleges, universities and research institutions are also part of the association.
