Irlbacher is a globally active group of companies in special glass technology based in the Upper Palatinate. For more than 80 years, we have been processing glass with the highest precision - for interior and exterior lighting, fireplaces, medical technology, building services, plumbing, mechanical engineering and the technical industry.

We have long since evolved from a supplier of glass parts to a provider of system solutions. The basis for this is the patented product IMPAtouch® - electronics on glass. Here, the glass as a design element also serves as a carrier material for all electronic components.

We thus offer manufacturers of displays, control terminals and operating elements a reliable and scalable technology platform for exploring practically unlimited technical and aesthetic possibilities on the basis of high-quality and durable capacitive sensor glass. Examples include hermetically sealed housing fronts on which knobs, lighting elements, switches or sliders - some even as haptic elements - are nevertheless available. Our input systems are fully suitable for industrial use. The basis of the systems is thermally tempered safety glass from 3 mm thickness.
