The project partners of the Fraunhofer Process Innovation Project Group can access state-of-the-art technical equipment. These include a production pilot plant with numerous networked machine tools, an electronics laboratory, a chemistry laboratory and an application center for additive manufacturing, as well as the Anwenderfabrik 4.0. 

Our engineers and scientists, now numbering 20, develop a deep understanding of our customers' individual tasks and work together on an interdisciplinary basis. With their in-depth expertise, they have created customized and responsible production technology solutions for a wide range of our industrial clients in over 125 projects in the past 5 years alone. In August 2015, the new building of the Fraunhofer Process Innovation Project Group was opened. This has an 800 m² technical center and provides space for 50 employees.
