At CENERGIE at Munich University of Applied Sciences, doctoral students, research assistants and students of the FK05 are supervised in various research projects in the field of energy and building technology. The focus ranges from the further development of grid-connected and grid-neutral energy supply for neighbourhoods, near-surface and deep geothermal energy, operational optimization of energy supply systems (heating, cooling and ventilation systems), thermal energy storage, optimization of drinking water heating systems to the motivation of building users of residential and educational facilities to behave in an energy-saving, climate- and environmentally conscious manner.
