Sigrid Hasenbank has studied Industrial Engineering at the FH in Schweinfurt with focus on international business. She graduated with her MBA at the FOM in Frankfurt. Currently she is enrolled as a doctoral student at the Banku Augstskola Doctoral program in business management in Riga/ Latvia researching on innovation capacities in times of uncertainty.

In her business position she is working in the Incubator for Battery Cell Envelopes (BCE) for prismatic cells at Freudenberg Sealing Technologies. In this role she is responsible for R&D and testing of the next generation envelopes and strongly supports the customer activities with data driven evidence. Focus is the validation of the advantages of nonwoven BCE in prismatic cells and entering the market with that innovation.

Sigrid is always curious and likes to connect within the battery cell community to drive innovation. Her passion for lifelong learning drives her motivation in times of high uncertainty to find a way forward and “Innovating Together”.
