Ulrike Scharf has been Bavarian State Minister for Family, Labor and Social Affairs since February 2022 and a further deputy to the Minister President since 2023. She was previously Minister of State for the Environment and Consumer Protection (2014-2018) and has been a member of the Bavarian State Parliament since 2013. A graduate in business administration, she has been involved in the CSU for many years, in particular for small and medium-sized enterprises, women and social issues. In addition to her political career, she worked in the family business for a long time. She has received numerous awards for her commitment, including the Bavarian Order of Merit.
