Dr. Thorsten Lambertus is the Managing Director of DEEP - the Institute for Deep Tech Innovation at ESMT Berlin. Prior to joining ESMT, he established Biogen's Neurotech Lab in Germany as the company's corporate venturing unit for Europe, initiated and led Fraunhofer's central tech transfer and startup incubation program AHEAD, and co-founded two startups. He has supported innovators and breakthrough technologies across a wide range of industries and technology domains. For more than 15 years, Thorsten has also been engaged as an entrepreneurship educator, teaching at institutions including the Max Planck Society, TU Munich, and WU Vienna.
