After completing her M.Sc. degree in "Health Economics, Policy and Law" at Erasmus University Rotterdam, Sophie Wald completed a trainee program in hospital management.

Since 2017, she has been working as a project manager in various areas of corporate development at hospitals. Since 2024, she has been responsible for the area of "Sustainable Organizational Development" and thus the sustainability management of Klinikum Nürnberg, one of the largest municipal hospitals in Europe.
