Over the past 30 years at Allianz, Ralf has held several management positions. Until last year, Ralf was CIO of Allianz Group for 13 years. Since October 2023 Ralf is Senior Fellow and Head of the Cybersecurity and Next-Generation IT Think Tank at Allianz. In this role, Ralf advises the Board of Management of Allianz-SE and Allianz Technology on future IT and security topics and passes on his extensive knowledge and experience to the next leadership team.

In addition to his career at Allianz, Ralf Schneider holds leading positions in various organizations in the field of cyber security, such as "Cyber Security Sharing & Analytics (CSSA) e.V.".

He is also a member of the executive committee of the German Federal Association of IT Users (VOICE e.V.), a senator of the National Academy of Science and Engineering (Acatech) and a member of the advisory board of the German National Research Center for Applied Cybersecurity Athene.

Ralf Schneider holds a degree in mathematics and a doctorate in computer science.
