After an agricultural apprenticeship in the mid-1980s, several years of practical agricultural experience and a longer stay in the USA, Philipp Horsch became permanently involved in the still young company, which his brother Michael Horsch had only founded in 1984, in 1990.

He shares the management of the HORSCH Group with his brother Michael Horsch, his wife Cornelia Horsch and Theodor Leeb. Philipp Horsch is married to Elke Horsch and they have three grown-up children.
