Norbert Zundl is a graduate mechanical engineer specializing in vehicle design and holds a Master of Business Administration.
After graduating from Stuttgart Cooperative State University, he joined what is now Mercedes-Benz AG as a development engineer, where he has held various specialist and management positions since 2001.
Among other things, he was responsible for the Mercedes-Benz innovation strategy in the fields of EE & software, safety and telematics. As project manager for complete vehicle development, he brought the GLE Coupé onto the road and was most recently the chief developer responsible for the military G-Class.
In 2024, he took over as Head of the Line Set Development & Technology department at Mercedes-Benz AG. In addition to the development of vehicle-specific wiring harnesses, his department is also responsible for all contacting, metering and mechanical components.
