Dr. Mario Weiß has been working at Bundesnetzagentur since 2012 in the section "Mobile Radio Services, 6G Exchange Platform" where he is responsible for standardisation in the field of mobile communications 5G/6G, among other things. He represents the regulatory objectives of the German administration in the corresponding international committees of ETSI and 3GPP. He also heads the 6G exchange platform (AP6G) at the Bundesnetzagentur.
