Dr.-Ing. Marc Hüske studied electrical engineering with a focus on microelectronics at the University of Hanover. He completed his doctorate at the Institute of Materials Science in the field of laser measurement technology as part of research work on plasma fusion cutting. Marc Hüske then worked for more than 20 years in various management positions in laser mechanical engineering with a focus on the initialization and implementation of new technologies. During this time, he was a member of the board of the VDMA Photovoltaic Production Equipment Division. Since November last year, he has led the Manufacturing-X forum at the VDMA and is responsible for the transfer of project results as a sub-project manager in Factory-X.
He is the author of numerous specialist articles and scientific publications and is also the inventor and co-inventor of numerous patents.
