Maike Frieben is a doctor and product manager of the electronic patient file for gematik. She studied at the University of Heidelberg and the Sorbonne University of Paris (France) and conducted research on robotic surgery at the University of Groningen (Netherlands). Before joining gematik, she worked for a leading medical knowledge platform, where she was involved in educating the medical profession on digitalization in medicine. Her leading motivation is to improve the quality of care and promote health literacy in Germany.
