Joseph Schapfl completed his bachelor's degree in industrial engineering with a focus on agricultural marketing and management at Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences. He then successfully completed his master's degree in agricultural management with a specialization in “Coordination of Value Chains.” As part of his master's thesis, he conducted scientific research on the diffusion of renewable drive technologies in agricultural engineering.
Joseph Schapfl has been working as a project manager at Bayern Innovativ since November 2025 and is responsible for the operational implementation and design of the AgriTechHUB. The aim is to build a community that promotes the exchange of experience and develops a common understanding. This includes setting up a platform for exchange and cooperation with clear communication channels, as well as developing coordinated goals and topics to highlight the potential of the hub. In addition, he identifies and communicates relevant trends at an early stage and initiates flagship projects that make innovations in the field of agricultural technology tangible and visible.
