Josef started his professional career as a software developer in the Siemens research labs. Later, he held various positions in the research and innovation management at Siemens, the European Commission and Nokia. In his current position in the Nokia Chief Technology Office, he works on strategic issues and trends, focusing on software and security technologies. He is also an active member of the research committee of the MÜNCHNER KREIS.
