Holger Alder studied physics at the TU Berlin and conducted research into multi-kilowatt lasers. After working at Inpro GmbH in Berlin and Volkswagen AG in Wolfsburg with many laser applications, he took over the introduction of new technologies in car body construction at VW in 1999.
In 2001, he co-founded the Photon Group and has been CTO of Photon AG in Berlin-Spandau ever since. Every day, he and his team drive innovation in laser welding and the sustainable lightweight construction of rail vehicles. Always with a clear view of the future.
