GEORG WÜRFFEL is Managing Director of the Center for Digital Development and Head of the ZDE Academy. He has over 17 years of municipal professional experience in various management positions. Due to his project experience and his management activities, Mr. Würffel also brings in-depth knowledge to Smart City projects. This ranges from applications, strategy consulting, future districts to sound funding management in the area of EU, federal and state funding. The ZDE has already been able to develop the first "Smart City Expert (IHK)" certificate in Germany and further expand this experience in an ERASMUS+ and an INTERREG-DANUBE flagship project of the EU.
