Dr. Frank Miermeister studied physics at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg with a focus on nuclear medical imaging. In 2002, he received his doctorate in human biology from the Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Frank Miermeister then worked for over ten years in industry at Biotronik SE & Co. KG in clinical research into cardiac implants, where he gained leadership experience and extensive expertise in the management of international projects. Since 2012, Dr. Frank Miermeister has been coordinating complex projects in the healthcare sector at Bayern Innovativ GmbH. Initially exclusively for Forum MedTech Pharma e.V., later for the Bavarian Medical Technology Cluster and the Health Innovation Network. His work focuses on medical technology, in particular certification and exchange in international networks.
