Dr.-Ing. Eva Russwurm is the Head of the research group Innovation und Transfer and Coordinator for the KI Park Satellite Erlangen-Nürnberg at the Institute for Smart Electronics and Systems (LITES) at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg.

She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from FAU. Her research interests include advancing energy management strategies in smart cities, the Internet of Things (IoT) and civilian security as well as the transfer of 6G technology. Dr. Russwurm coordinates the 6G-Valley initiative, organizing related conferences and securing research funding. Additionally, she represents FAU on the advisory boards of the KI Park e. V..

Her contributions extend to the FAU Academy and educational outreach, developing programs for lifelong learning and children's university events, while also managing public relations and conferences for the institute.
