Dr Dominic Steinhöfel is team leader of the spin-off InputLab at the CISPA Helmholtz Centre for Information Security and co-founder and managing director of InputLab GmbH, which specializes in synthetic test data with controlled data coverage for critical applications. His vision is a world with reliable information systems, and he sees targeted test data generation as a key to this. Thanks to years of research into program analysis and automated software testing, he brings in-depth scientific expertise to the practical solution of test data problems. He is particularly fascinated by the "misappropriation" of existing artifacts such as data schemas to generate high-quality test data. As a keen observer of the testing community and frequent conference attendee, he is keen to understand the challenges faced by software testers and offer innovative solutions.
