Prof. Dr. Dieter Nazareth studied computer science at the Technical University of Munich. He then completed his doctorate there at the
chair of Prof. Dr. Manfred Broy in the field of formal specifications. After completing his dissertation at
, he joined BMW AG, where he set up the CAE/CASE methodology department.
He then moved to the Dräxlmaier Group, where he was head of research and pre-development
. Since 2001, he has been a professor at the Faculty of Computer Science at Landshut University of Applied Sciences, where he was Dean of the Faculty for 9
years. Since 2005, he has also been managing partner of AuSEG
Automotive Software Engineering GmbH, which offers training and consulting in the field of automotive
software. He has also taught for many years at renowned universities abroad, e.g.
at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and is a lecturer at the Volkswagen Academy.
