After graduating from high school, Christoph Hauck trained as a tool mechanic specializing in mold technology at the former Dynamit Nobel AG in Weißenburg.

In 2002, he moved to toolcraft in Georgensgmünd as a CAM programmer and operator for 5-axis machining centers. After several years as a project manager and parallel further training (state-certified mechanical engineer, technical business economist), Mr. Hauck joined the company's management in 2012. His focus here is on the implementation of new technologies, new markets, and customers.
He currently holds the honorary position of Chairman of the Board of the AM Working Group of the VDMA and is also active on the main board. In addition, he is a member of the DIN Presidium for the aerospace sector and the AM Advisory Board.

At the BDLI, he is active in the competence team for “Additive Manufacturing.”
