Christian Wietfeld is a full professor and the Head of the Communication Networks Institute (CNI), TU Dortmund University. He received the Dipl.-Ing. and Dr.-Ing. degrees in electrical engineering from RWTH Aachen University and held various positions in the wireless networking industry in Munich and Berlin. Since he joined TU Dortmund in 2005, he has contributed to over 50 collaborative research projects on next-generation wireless networks. He is currently focusing on 5G and 6G research within the 6GEM Research Hub, the 6G Lighthouse Project 6G-ANNA and the Competence Center 5G.NRW.
