Carsten Borowy earned his degree in geography with a focus on the evaluation of satellite-based information. At the University of Bremen, he led research projects in the field of remote sensing and geographic information systems. For around 20 years, he has been working at OHB System AG in Bremen as a department and project manager in the fields of Earth observation, satellite communications and defense. His current focus is on leading consortia for capability development in European initiatives.
